The North Simcoe Good Food Box is a non-profit fresh fruit and vegetable distribution system. We are a co-operative that is trying to grow and encourage healthy eating. We take delivery and sort at the Midland Alliance Church on Yonge Street.
All 3 branches of the Tay Township Public Library are purchase and pick up locations for the North Simcoe Good Food Box.
Each good food box could include:
- Asparagus
- Tomatoes
- Strawberries
- Lettuce
- Broccoli
- Potatoes
- Apples
- Squash
- Cucumber
- Celery
- Pears
- Nectarines
- Grapefruit or Grapes or Pineapple (all seasonally chosen)
Included is a newsletter with nutritional information, healthy recipes, community information, and the next order pick-up information.
You must pre-order by the 7th of each month. Large – $20.00
